Spence Growth Options Project

Synergy is supporting Terra Nova Technologies for the design, supply, and construction of a new primary crusher and overland conveyor for the BHP Spence mine in Chile. 

 Beginning with basic engineering in 2017, followed by detailed engineering in 2018, and equipment supply in 2019, Synergy are now supporting the site services team in the final stages of the project.

Synergy’s scope of design and supply spanned from the 23kV substations to the automation, including Synergy’s  SRC drive system for the 3km long overland conveyor.
